Craig is the son of James and Abby Hess. He was born and raised in LaGrange County on Witmer Lake in Wolcottville. 


Craig graduated from Lakeland High School in 2011 and started his career in funeral service. In 2013, he graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with an associate degree in Mortuary Science.  


He resides on Sylvan Lake in Rome City with his canine companion, Bella, and three feline friends, Otto, Russ, and Luna. When Craig isn't at the funeral home caring for families, he is in the gym, bodybuilding, or spending time with his family and friends. He has taken an oath to serve families and care for loved ones when called upon.

James (Jimmy) is the son of Ron and Judy Hess and a native of Witmer Lake in Wolcottville. 


In 1983, Jimmy graduated from Lakeland High School, and he obtained his bachelor's degree in business from Manchester University in 1987. He and Abby wed in 1990 and moved to Witmer Lake in 1991. A few years later, he received his master's degree from Indiana University, and he earned his Ph.D. in Leadership in 2013. He served as commissioner of LaGrange County from 2001 to 2005 and is currently a professor at Purdue Fort Wayne. 


Jimmy enjoys traveling, reading, spending time on the lake, learning languages, visiting friends, and talking. He is committed to serving families with his wife and son.

Abigail (Abby) is the daughter of Tom Soper and Sandy Gail. She was born and raised in Howe, Indiana, on South Twin Lake. 


Abby graduated from Lakeland High School in 1983 as salutatorian. She worked as a nursing home administrator for 6 years before returning to Indiana University and obtaining her master's degree in 2013. Of her 16 years of teaching, 15 were spent at Wolcott Mills Elementary School. She is now a teacher at Garrett Middle School.  


When she's not serving families, Abby enjoys shopping, reading, spending time outside or with animals, and traveling. She enjoys serving the community by helping families in their time of need.
