Willard Johnson Jr., 83, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. Mr. Johnson was born on July 13, 1937 in Jackscreek, KY to Willard and Disia (Slone) Johnson. He worked in manufacturing and the RV industry in his younger years. Willard then managed mobile home parks in Kentucky and Indiana before retiring. He was a former preacher in the Old Regular Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and studying his bible. Willard enjoyed country and bluegrass music. He loved his grandchildren and family deeply and enjoyed the attention he was given from everyone.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Delmas, Kenneth, and Richard Johnson, 2 sisters; Ruth Johnson and Louise Lackey, 1 grandson, Kevin Kurtz, and 1 great-granddaughter, Brianna Frost.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5-7pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11am at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
