Timothy Coburn

Timothy Coburn, age 65, of Kendallville, IN passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Coburn was born on June 17, 1957 to Chester and Osie (Chaffins) Coburn.  In 1975, he graduated from Lakeland High School in LaGrange, IN.  For 10 years, he was employed at Pace America in Middlebury, IN.  He then worked for Dometic in LaGrange for a few years.  Tim then was employed for 5 years at Morgan Olson in Sturgis, MI.  He absolutely loved salmon and trout fishing.  Each year for his daughter’s birthday, they would go to Berrien Springs, MI for the “Salmon Run.” Alongside of being an avid fisherman, he enjoyed being outside gardening.  Tim enjoyed watching westerns and was a huge Star Wars nerd.  In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting as well.  Tim was very giving and always the first to lend a helping hand to those in need.  He loved his family and grandchildren with his whole heart.

Mother, Osie Coburn of Kendallville, IN.

Son, Travis Coburn of Sturgis, MI.

Daughter, Ceirra Winquist of Southbend, IN.

Grandchild, Talia Modert of Sturgis, MI.

Grandchild, Miley Coburn of Sturgis, MI.

Grandchild, Alice Winquist of South Bend, IN.

Grandchild, Anson Winquist of South Bend, IN.

Sister, Melanie (Tim) Reed of Sturgis, MI.

Sister, Jill (Aaron) Cockerill of Wolcottville, IN.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, daughter, Jayna Coburn, and sister, Teresa Irelan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family for funeral expenses.
