Samuel "Sam" C Ringler

Samuel C. Ringler, age 77, of Howe, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Mr. Ringler was born on June 11, 1943 to Chancy and Juanita Ringler.  On October 4, 1964, he married the love of his life Sharon M. Dunkle.  Sam worked for Morgan Olson for 20 years in Metal Fabrication.  He loved working, taking care of his chickens, and tinkering in his barn.  Sam enjoyed fishing and spending time with his canine companion, Drake.  He was a volunteer firefighter in Mongo, IN for many years.  Sam was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Son, John C. Ringler.
Granddaughter, Amanda (Jimmy) Vaughn.
Grandson, Max Ringler.
Grandson, Johnny Ringler.
Grandson, Nathan Ringler.
Granddaughter, Caroline Ringler (Josh Portillo).
Granddaughter, Cassie Jones.
3 Great-grandchildren.
Brother, Raymond Ringler.
Brother, Wayne Ringler.
Step-sister, Rose Geatz.
Step-brother, Bruce Johnson.
Step-brother, Nolan Johnson.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son, Frank Ringler.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 1:00pm with visitation 2 hours prior from 11:00am-1:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Cremation will follow after the funeral services and burial will take place in Mongo Cemetery at a later date.
