Robert “Rob” C. Paulus, age 70, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. Mr. Paulus was born on May 19, 1950 in Sturgis, MI to Robert “Bob” C. and Ardith Ruth (Boyd) Paulus. Rob graduated from Lakeland High School in LaGrange. On June 8, 1973, he married Jane Webb at the LaGrange Missionary Church. Rob worked with his father as a tree trimmer for M.G. Gilbert Company for over 5 years. He retired from the Indiana State Toll Road as road maintenance supervisor after 30 years of diligent service. Rob was “Master Remote Control Operator” at his house. He enjoyed watching NCIS, the History Channel, westerns, and the same war movies repeatedly. His favorite war movie was “A Few Good Men.” Rob loved to go camping, traveling, and seeing historical sites with his family. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Rob enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, wife, children, and grandchildren.

Son, Jason Paulus of Kendaville, IN.
Son, Scott Paulus of LaGrange, IN.
Daughter, Amy (Craig ) Nanney of Bay City, MI.
10 Grandchildren, Cole Gayhart, Daniel Lambright, Gage Paulus, Layne Paulus, Konnor Paulus, Brandon Weber, Breanna Weber, Jakob Weber, Zayden Nanney, and Dawson Nanney.
1 Great-granddaughter, Adelyn Weber and 1 great-grandson on the way.

Brother, Terry Paulus of LaGrange, IN.
Brother, Mark (Deb) Paulus of LaGrange, IN.
Sister, Peggy (Randy) Yeomans of Mendon, MI.
Sister, Jayne (Dan) Meinerts of South Dakota.
Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents.
