Philip E. Barrows, age 87 of Orland, IN was reunited with the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Jacqueline Barrows on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Phil was born on July 9, 1935 in Brighton, IN to Emril and Mildred Vivian (LeMaster) Barrows. He graduated from Orland High School in Orland, IN. On January 11, 1958, he married the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Jacqueline (Johnson) Barrows. After many years of dedicated service, Phil retired from International Paper in the janitorial department. After retirement, Phil continued working diligently for a local farm doing farm work with tractors. He enjoyed the challenges of puzzles and word searches. He also liked playing competitive games like Euchre, Marbles (Aggravation), and other various playing card games. Phil was an avid Indiana Hoosier Basketball, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tigers fan. For 17 years, he belonged to a bowling league. Phil was passionate about fishing as well and spent many hours casting lines and hooking fish. Phil didn’t know a stranger, could talk to anyone and was described as a social butterfly. He was extremely fun loving and outgoing, had jokes for days to relay to those he met, and loved to dance and sing "Blueberry Hill" to his wife Above all, he was a family oriented man who always enjoyed quality time with his loved ones, going to church with his daughter who he nicknamed “Clyde,” and seeing his grandchildren.

20 Great-Grandchildren.

Phil was preceded in death by his parent, wife, and son, Philip Barrows Jr.
