Miles Anthony Blackburn

Miles Anthony Blackburn, age 38, of Bremen, IN passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 in an automobile accident.  Mr. Blackburn was born on September 16, 1984 in LaGrange, IN to David Blackburn Sr. and Brenda Kay (Melton) Miller.  Anthony graduated from Goshen High School where he excelled in football and then ventured onward to serve his country honorably with the United States Marine Corp.  He worked for various RV factories including Keystone and Forest River.  He recently was employed as a group leader for Challenger in Nappanee, IN.  Anthony enjoyed dirt bikes, motocross, horseshoes, and cornhole.  He also was an avid sports fan and always supported the Kentucky Wildcats and Notre Dame football teams.  Anthony’s number one passion was his 5 children.  He loved his family and always took pleasure in spending quality time with them.

5 Children, Brayden, Lily, Tucker, Gentry, and Parker Blackburn.
Sister, Melody Day of Hazard, KY.
Sister, Lisa and Earl Zimmerman of Butler, IN.
Sister, Mercedes Blackburn of Millersburg, IN.
Sister, Chelsea Rodriguez of Goshen, IN.
Brother, Thomas Rodriguez of Taylor, MI.
Brother, Chazton Blackburn of Avilla, IN.
Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Blackburn Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 2:00pm with visitation 2 hours prior from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.  

Cremation will follow after the services.

Memorial donations may be directed to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
