Max Lee Sargent

Max Lee Sargent, age 46, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in Middlebury, IN.  Mr. Sargent was born on June 13, 1977 in Hanover, New Hampshire to James Chase and Narissa (Sargent) Strout.  Max graduated from Hartford High School in White River Junction, Vermont.  On March 18, 2017, he married the love of his life, Rebecca Walley.  Max was currently employed by Culver Duck Farm in Middlebury, IN.  Max was an avid animal lover and enthusiast.  He had 4 dogs, 8 cats, and loved each and everyone of them as if they were his own children.  Max enjoyed relaxing by fishing and playing the computer game, Altima.  Max loved his family, friends, and wife.  He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Father, James Chase.
Brother, Jess Brennan.
Brother, Dante (Emma) Sargent.
Sister, Danielle Sargent.
Nieces and Nephews, Justin Plummer, Tracy Sargent, Lois Manning, Leila Manning, Molly Sargent, Arthur Sargent, John Contreras and Benjamin Sargent.

Max was preceded in death by his mother, Narissa Strout.

 Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family for final expenses.
