Mattie Allen Obituary

Mattie M. Allen, age 74, of Howe, IN passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at her residence. Ms. Allen was born on March 14, 1949 in Hindman, KY to the late Lester and Susie Slone. Mattie graduated High School and then continued her education earning an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. She worked for Starcraft in Topeka and Midwest Molding in Wolcottville for many years. She enjoyed relaxing by completing Crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Mattie was fond of being outdoors, bird watching, and fishing. Mattie was a kind hearted generous person who was always ready to help anyone in need.

Mattie is survived by her children; Ella Demuth, Bobby Jacobs, Michael Jacobs, Deborah Sizemore, Donald Allen, Susie Allen, Clyde Allen, Kristy Allen, and one sister, Ellen Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, David Campbell, and several brothers and sisters.

There are no services scheduled at this time and cremation will take place.
