Mary L. (Boyd) Thomas

Mary L. Thomas, age 67, of Wolcottville, IN passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her residence.  Mrs. Thomas was born on July 31, 1954 in LaGrange, In to Robert and Frances (Jones) Boyd.  She graduated from Lakeland High School in LaGrange, IN.  In 1973, She married James J. Thomas in Davenport, IA.  She worked for the United States Postal Service for 2 years.  Mary also worked for Pizza Hut, Blue Gate Restaurant, and Fed Ex.  For many years she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange, IN.   She enjoyed playing Dominos with her niece, Michelle.  Mary also played computer games as well as “BeJeweled” on her phone.  Mary loved to crochet and watch Court T.V.  

Survivors include:
Son, Tony Thomas.
Step-daughter, Angie Thomas.
Step-daughter, Lisa Thomas.
Step-daughter, Jenny Thomas.
Step-daughter, Amy (Tino) Martinez.
Brother, Charlie Boyd.
Brother, Bob (Vivian) Boyd.
Sister, Wanda Snipes.
Several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters; Shirley Thomas and Betty Jordan.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:00am with calling 1 hour prior from 10:00am-11:00am at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Officiating the service will be Pastor Crystal Jacobson.
