Maria C (Perez) Garcia

Maria C. Garcia, age 76, of Sturgis, MI, passed away on December 22, 2020 at AMITA Health Mercy Medical Center Aurora in Aurora, IL.  Mrs. Garcia was born on August 27, 1944 in Mexico.  She married her husband of 30 years, Gonzalo Garcia in Mexico.  Maria was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.  She worked at Miller Poultry for 3 years.  Maria enjoyed being outside working.  She liked to watch soap operas.  Maria loved seeing her family happy and spending time with her loved ones.

Son, Adrian (Maria) Garcia of LaGrange, IN.
Son, Leopoldo (Martha) Garcia of Sturgis, MI.
Son, Carmelo Garcia of Aurora, IL.
Son, Gonzalo Garcia (Donna Olvera) of LaGrange, IN.  
Son, Jesus Garcia (Teresa Carmona) of Howe, IN.  
Daughter, Alma (Carmelo) Sanchez of Aurora, IL.
Daughter, Ana Rosa (Richardo) Munoz of MI.
26 Grandchildren.
4 Great-grandchildren.
Sister, Sara Perez of Mexico. 
Maria was preceded in death by her husband.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 11:30am at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services.  

Officiating the services will be Father Osman Ramos.

Memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
