Lora L. Nash, age 53, of Howe, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Nash was born on February 25, 1969 in Indianapolis, IN to Glen and Frances (Sertain) Barton. On July 27, 2001, Lora married the love of her life and husband of over 20 years, Rick C. Nash in Howe, IN. She was very caring and loving which helped her thrive in during her employment at Miller’s Merry Manor in LaGrange, IN. Lora also worked as a machine operator for nearly 7 years at Multiplex in Howe, IN. Her passion was animals. Lora and her husband were known as the owner’s of Nash’s Petting Zoo due to their eclectic collection of animals. Together they raised horses, raccoons, cats, dogs, a pig named “Petunia,” a miniature donkey named “Pedro,” a Canadian goose named “Millard,” and a ferret named “Ferra.” Lora enjoyed being outdoors, canoeing, tending to her flowers, and gardening. She thought about everyone else but herself and loved life to the fullest. Lora loved talking with her mom on the phone 2-4x a day, cherished times with her husband, and all the precious moments with her family and loved ones. She was a lovable person who genuinely cared for others. She will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones.

Step-son, Jason Nash of Fort Wayne, IN.

Step-daughter, Lisa (Josh) Brown of Howe, IN.

21 nieces and nephews.
