Juan A. Sanchez

Juan A. Sanchez, age 59, of Howe, IN formerly of Kendallville, IN, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his residence.  Mr. Sanchez was born on November 4, 1963 in Taimeo, Mexico to Fidel and Aurora (Aguilar) Sanchez.  Juan graduated High School in Mexico.  On April 17, 1993, he married Maria Lucia Sanchez in LaGrange, IN.  For the majority of his life he worked as a skilled contractor and builder of homes.  This also led him to enjoy home projects and updating various household items within his own home.  His most recent job was being a  welder for Lippert Components in Middlebury, IN.  Juan was an avid housekeeper, enjoyed keeping things clean and tidy, and kept a well groomed lawn.  He was extremely family oriented, loved his grandchildren, and was the most friendly man with a great laugh you could meet.

Spouse, Maria Sanchez of Howe, IN.

Mother, Aurora Sanchez of Mexico.

Daughter, Norma Rhiver of El Paso, TX.

Daughter, Rosio and Cole Pursel of Sturgis, MI.

Son, Juan Alejandro “Alex” Sanchez of Howe, IN.

Daughter, Angela Sanchez and Jose Garcia of Kendallville, IN.

Grandchildren, Silas Giovanni Pursel, Oliver Paul Pursel, Percy Jay Pursel, and Dewayne Rhiver.

11 Siblings, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Juan was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 6:00pm-10:00pm St. Joseph Catholic Church, 50 North 100 East, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 50 North 100 East, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange.

Officiating the services will be Father Raul Marroquin.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family for final expenses.
