Jamie Schnelker Obituary

Jamie A. Schnelker, age 62, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Life Care Center of Fort Wayne.  On August 11, 1961, Jamie was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Alan Edward Sr. and Patricia Sue (Watson) Schnelker.  Jamie graduated from Northrop High School in Fort Wayne, IN and continued education at Santa Barbara College where they earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  Jamie previously worked as a mechanic for Parker in Fort Wayne, IN,  CME in Monroeville, IN, Subway in the Glenbrook Mall in Fort Wayne, IN, and was a truck driver for U.S. Trucking.  Jamie absolutely loved coffee and the outdoors. Often you could find Jamie enjoying fishing, boating, bicycle rides, motorcycle rides, and camping.  Jamie had a really fun unique sense of humor that only certain people understood.  Jamie was also die hard Indianapolis Colts fan and loved the blue color in the emblem.  

Survivors include:
Daughter, Corina and Olman Cantarero of North Carolina.
Brother, Bill Schnelker of Fort Wayne, IN.
Brother, Brian and Tracey Schnelker of Brimfield, IN.
Jamie was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Alan Edward Schnelker Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Cremation will follow after the services.
