Holly Kay (Patterson) Whitaker

Holly Kay Whitaker, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Life Care Center of LaGrange.  Ms. Whitaker was born on October 31, 1953 in Sandusky, MI to Clifford Patterson and Ella (Willis) Ritchie.  On December 31, 1980, she married Tom Whitaker in Tampa, FL.  Holly worked as a truck driver for Forest River for 5 years and MS Carriers for 5 years.  For 10 years, Holly diligently managed a booth at a flea market in Ocala, FL.  Holly was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and grandmother. 

Survivors include:

Mother, Ella Ritchie of Ocala, FL.

Son, Shannon and Valerie Whitaker of LaGrange, IN.

Daughter, Terri Whitaker and Travis Elkins of Shipshewana, IN.

Daughter-in-law, Rachel Buckmaster of Nappanee, IN.

Grandchildren, Charles Sherlock, Christopher Sherlock, Ella Sherlock, Samantha (Scott) Pairan,  Kelly Hahn, Trampus Whitaker, Bryce Whitaker, Owen Oakley, and Madilyn Oakley.

Great-grandchildren, Tessie Kay Hahn, Elliott Whitaker, and Emmett Whitaker.

Holly was preceded in death by her father, husband, and son, Michael Sherlock.
