Carl “Burr Head” R. Sedlock, age 66, of Shipshewana, IN passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. Mr. Sedlock was born on February 16, 1957 in Montgomery, WV to Carl Woodrow and Dorothy Ella (Parish) Sedlock. Carl graduated from Oak Hill High School in Oak Hill, WV. On June 25, 1982, he married Kimberly Asbury. In his younger years, he worked as a coal miner in West Virginia for approximately 10 years. Carl was not afraid of hard work and he displayed his work ethic with 25 years of welding service to Beck Corporation in Elkhart, IN. After his welding career, he went on to work as a driver for E&S Sales in Shipshewana, IN. Carl was an outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, fishing, mowing, and working outside. Though he was a workaholic, he also enjoyed relaxing at home. Carl was an avid Notre Dame and West Virginia University fan. He loved his family and enjoyed all of his time spent with his loved ones, especially time spent with his granddaughter, Hannah.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and 2 siblings; Alma Brash and Beverly Blevins.
Visitation and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 4:00-7:00pm with a service at 7:00pm at Burr Oak Church, 11010 West 1100 North, Ligonier, IN 46767.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family for final expenses.
