Brenda S. (Fugate) Griffin

Brenda S. Griffin, age 71, of Howe, IN passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.  Mrs. Griffin was born on December 14, 1949 in Dwarf, KY to Leonard and LaVerna (Patrick) Fugate.  In 1968, she graduated from Greenon High School in Springfield, OH.  On August 2, 1969, she married Jerry Griffin at the United Methodist Church in Wolcottville, IN.  Brenda worked in fiber glass at Star Craft for 6 years.  She also was employed at Nisco for 15 years.  She ended her career at Walmart, where she was employed in the vision center for 6 years.  Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She loved to make desserts and treats for people.  She was a people person and loved helping those in need.  She was dedicated to her family, grandchildren, and spending as much quality time with them as she could.

Husband, Jerry Griffin of Howe, IN.
Daughter, Jerri Griffin of Howe, IN.
Daughter, Lisa and Art Rangel of Wolcottville, IN.
Granddaughters, Morgan and Audrey Harker of Wolcottville, IN.
Step-grandchildren, Liam and Lucy Rangel of Rochester, IN.
Sister, Eva Hochstetler of Goshen, IN.
Brother, Dean and Mylea Fugate of Wolcottville, IN.
Brother, H.B. and Imogene Fugate of Kendallville, IN.
Brother, Joe Fugate of Aary, KY.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Larry, Doff, Danny, Wilma, Glen, James, and Olvin Fugate.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00am at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN
