Anthony “Tony” Lee Mead, age 23, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Mead was born on December 13, 1997 in Auburn, IN to Eric Lee Mead and Stacy (Salisbury) Lepley. In 2016, he graduated from East Noble High School in Kendallville, IN. He continued his education at Ivy Tech Community College. Tony obtained several IT certifications, including Network+, CCNA, and CCENT. He was also in the process of earning other certifications towards his IT career. Tony was currently employed by Accent Consulting as a Desktop Administrator II. He was a skilled computer technician and tediously rebuilt computers from scratch. Tony loved cars and working on them. He was an avid fan of car clubs, rally cars and Ford Mustangs. Tony was currently rebuilding a Mitsubishi Eclipse. He loved music, playing his guitar and was in the process of sound production. Tony always looked forward to game night and was passionate about his gaming. He had an infectious smile, good looks, and enjoyed making people laugh around him. Tony was intelligent and ambitious, which really shined through his articulate IT jobs, music, and car projects. He was caring, compassionate, and loved his family dearly.

Tony will also be survived by many cousins and his Sister, Julia Mead’s child.
Tony was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gale Lee Mead, great-grandmother, Helen Watson, and uncle Kevin Salisbury.
Private family funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
Visitation for the public will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 11am-1pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.
Burial will follow the visitation at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Auburn, IN.
