William "B.J." Howard Ellis, age 37, of LaGrange, IN formerly of Sherwood, MI, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in LaGrange, IN.  Mr. Ellis was born on June 21, 1987, in LaGrange, IN to the late William Bryan and Selma Ellis.  He attended Lakeland High School and obtained his GED.  He previously worked in manufacturing.  B.J. loved being outdoors, fishing, camping, and tinkering with his motorcycle.

Survivors include: Brother, Daniel Ellis. Nephew, Isaac Ellis. Paternal Grandmother, Anita Jackson Uncle, Robert (Gail) Ellis. Aunt, Alice (Larry) Shepherd. Aunt, Amy (Rick) Anderson. Cousins, Misty Ellis, Charley Ellis II, Crystal (Darren) Maggard, Casey Maggard, Deagan Maggard, Jason Anderson, Kye Anderson, Jeremy Ellis, Robert Ellis II, Anthony Ellis, Anthony Ellis II, Zoey Ellis, and Quinn Ellis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Junie Ellis-Fuller and Charley Ellis, paternal grandfather, Tree Jackson, and aunt, Ernestine Ellis.

Cremation will take place and the burial at Greenwood Cemetery will be scheduled later.
