Wilburn Taylor Jr.

Wilburn Taylor Jr., age 65, of Huntington, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on November 20, 1960, in Manhattan, New York, to Wilburn Taylor Sr. and Delphenia McLauren. Wilburn graduated from high school and entered the workforce, where he enjoyed a career as a truck driver for more than 20 years.

Wilburn was known for his caring nature and willingness to help others. He enjoyed sharing his wisdom and offering sound advice to family, friends, and anyone in need. He took great pride in the recognition he received from the Indiana House of Representatives in honor of his 65th birthday, a distinction that held special meaning to him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Brian Taylor and Marcus Taylor; his sister, Adele (Martin) Ramey; and his nephew, Rasheed (Aleisha) Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
