Thomas "Tom" C. Lamkin

Thomas “Tom” C. Lamkin, age 76, of Huntington, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Mr. Lamkin was born on March 27, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Charles Thomas and Joan Maire (LaGue) Lamkin. He was a high school graduate who dedicated many years of his career to the manufacturing industry as a laborer. Tom was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. He valued his independence, often finding comfort and contentment in the peace of his own company.

He is survived by his companion of 16 years, Jodee Collins; sisters, Cynthia Williamson and Jeanne Perry (Thomas); and aunt, Elizabeth List. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Smith; and brother-in-law, Rick Williamson.

In accordance with Tom’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.

Arrangements and care have been entrusted to Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
