Theodore “Tee” Edwin Blotter, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. He was born on May 2, 1966, in Fremont, Indiana, to Theodore B. Blotter and Darlene K. Weller.
Mr. Blotter graduated from Fremont High School. He worked in maintenance at Reliable in Kendallville for 16 years before continuing his career in manufacturing as a laborer at Forest River in Goshen.
On July 31, 1993, Theodore married Susan Blotter in Avilla, Indiana, and she survives. Together, they shared 33 years of marriage. Also surviving are his two sons, Josh (Erin) Kidd and Nick Blotter; and four grandchildren, Lucas Kidd, Jordyn Kidd, Kaiden Blotter, and Kaleb Blotter.
Theodore is also survived by his brothers, Randy (Beth) Blotter and John Blotter; his sister, Mystie Sage; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Kay Weller; his father, Theodore Blotter; and his brother, Kevin Post.
Tee enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including enjoying a cold beverage, camping at Gordon’s Campground, and mushroom hunting. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed supporting his children in their sporting activities as they grew up and treasured the memories they made together. His greatest joys were the moments spent with those closest to him, including his grandchildren.
Tee will be remembered for the time he shared with his loved ones, the memories he created, and the lasting place he held in the lives of his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements and care have been entrusted to Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
