Terry L. Paulus, age 68, of LaGrange, IN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at The Waters of LaGrange.

Terry was born on November 27, 1956, in LaGrange, IN, to the late Robert "Bob" and Ardith (Boyd) Paulus. He attended Lakeland High School in LaGrange.

Terry dedicated more than 30 years of his life to working for the Town of LaGrange Street Department before retiring. He was also employed by the State of Indiana as a tree and limb removal service technician. A proud member of the LaGrange Volunteer Fire Department for over a decade, Terry also served as the department's secretary during his years of service.

He loved the outdoors, especially camping and cruising on his Honda Goldwing. Music was another passion, and he could often be found listening to favorites such as KISS, The Eagles, and Cinderella. One of his greatest joys was vacationing at his timeshare in the Smoky Mountains, a trip he eagerly anticipated each season.

Terry will be remembered as a selfless man who loved helping people and giving back to his community. Above all, he cherished quality time with his family and loved ones, who will miss him dearly.

Survivors include: Daughter, Jessica Paulus and Rob Cekander. Son, T.J. Paulus. Mother of his children, Kathy Paulus. Grandchildren, Devin Lowell, Danielle Lowell, Matthew (Michaela Yourgans) Paulus, Kylee (Derrick) Kane, Alexis (Christopher Tavarez) Applegate, and Jordan Applegate. Great-grandchildren, Avionte Jr., Ayden, Adonis, Gabriel, Dominic, Waylon, Nova, and one on the way. Brother, Mark and Deb Paulus. Brother, Jack and Mary Paulus. Sister, Peggy and Randy Yeomans. Sister, Jayne Meinerts. Sister-in-law, Jane Paulus. Also Surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his late significant other, Roxanne Hicks's family who he was very close with.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rob Paulus, Daughter-in-law, Shannon Paulus, and significant other of 13 years, Roxanne Hicks.

Cremation will take place upon Terry's wishes and a celebration of life will be on held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 5:00pm at the Lagrange Missionary Church 808 N. Detroit Street, Lagrange IN 46761.
