Teresita E. Schultis, age 49, of Kendallville, IN passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville, IN.  Ms. Schultis was born on April 20, 1972 in Sturgis, MI to Arthur W. and Estella (Villalvazo) Bowers.  In 1991, she graduated from Lakeland High School in LaGrange, IN.  Teresita was formerly employed by Dutch Housing as a receptionist.  She then served the town of LaGrange as a 911 dispatcher for the LaGrange County Sheriff's Office.  Teresita was a devout Catholic and through her faith in the Lord she touched many lives.  She loved crafting, scrapbooking, and finding deals at garage sales. Teresita loved her children and canine companion, Lightning.  Through her life she always kept a positive attitude and lived her life caring about others.

Survivors include: Daughter, Bethany Schultis of Corunna, IN. Son, Gabriel (Faith Joy) Schultis of Camp Pendleton, CA. Brother, Arthur Jr. (Bobbi) Bowers of Howe, IN. Brother, Oscar (Julianna) Bowers of LaGrange, IN. Uncle, John (Lucinda) Bowers of Orland, IN. Aunt, Linda Platt of Columbia City, IN. Aunt, Sharon Mowery of Columbia City, IN. Aunt, Carrie Concepcion Los Angeles, CA. Uncle, Oscar (Diane) Villalvazo of Anaheim, CA. Uncle, Dan (Margie) Jenkins of San Diego, CA. Aunt, Jeanette Bowers of Howe, IN.

Teresita was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Visitation be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2:00pm-6:00pm and then following the visitation there will be a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10:00am at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 3333 East Tillman Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46816.

Burial will take place at Brighton Chapel Cemetery following the Mass of Christian Burial.

Officiating the service will be Father Steven Weber.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
