Susanna J. Jent, age 80, of LaGrange, IN passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Life Care Center LaGrange.  Ms. Jent was born on April 20, 1942 in Sturgis, MI to the late Edward and Edna (Crain) Long.  She graduated High School in Sturgis, MI.  For 23 years, she served as a home health aid for Farmer's State Bank's Trust Department.  She loved crafting, listening to music, tending to her plants, and bird watching.  Her true passion in life was care taking and ensuring those she loved were well looked after.

Survivors include:

Son, Christopher Jent of Indianapolis, IN. Daughter, Amy Jent of Howe, IN. Grandchildren. Ryan, Aiden, Jenny, Allen, Gi Gi, Harley, and Reagan. Many great-grandchildren. Brother, Terry (Pattie) Long of Florida.

Susanna was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Woodrow Jent, daughter, Kathy Jent, and son, Woodrow "Woody" Jent Jr.

A memorial service in Susanna's honor will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00pm with calling 1 hour prior from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.
