Shirley Ann Wallace, age 84, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at The Waters of LaGrange.  Ms. Wallace was born on March 30, 1940 in Elkhart, IN.  She attended High School in Goshen, IN.  On December 31, 1961, she married Larry Wallace Sr.  For many years, she worked for both Tiffany's Restaurant in Topeka, IN and Carrey's Restaurant in Marion, IN as a cook. Shirley was an avid crafter, collected elephant memorabilia, and was very passionate about cooking.  She loved preparing specialty dishes for relatives upon request at the holidays.  Shirley was a jokester, enjoyed watching Chuck Norris, cooking shows, and Murder She Wrote.  She was extremely family oriented, loved her grandchildren, and valued all the quality time she spent with them.  Shirley will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include: Son, Larry Jr. (Lana) Wallace of Anderson, IN. Son, Basil Wallace of Ontario, IN. Daughter, Yulonda Zaragoza of Pennsylvania. Daughter-in-law, Jayne Dell of LaGrange, IN. 8 Grandchildren. 12 Great-grandchildren. Great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Irene Cripe, husband, Larry Wallace Sr., 4 sisters; Bonnie, Betty, Norma, Mary, and a canine companion, "Moochie."

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
