Sanford Steiler

Sanford “Cabbie” Steiler, age 67, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born on May 26, 1958.

Cabbie was self-employed and a phenomenally multi-talented handyman who excelled at tackling odd jobs and helping others with whatever they needed. He enjoyed spending quality time with friends who became like family to him.

Cabbie was a nostalgic enthusiast of old cars and trucks and loved anything with a motor and a story behind it. He also enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and camping. Above all, Cabbie had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
