Ronald "Ron" Alan Jurhs, age 64, of Bristol, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Esther's House, Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart, IN.  Mr. Jurhs was born on April 9, 1961, in Kalamazoo, MI to Jack and Barbara (Ouding) Jurhs.  In 1978, he graduated from Portage High School in Michigan.  He continued his education at Black Canyon College in Arizona.  On April 9, 1993, he married the love of his life Lisa Weible at the First Presbyterian Church in LaGrange, IN.  In 2024, Ron retired from Niblock after 32 years as a heavy equipment operator.  Ron and his family were members of Elkhart Community Church in Elkhart, IN.  Ron's passion for Christ and God were shown through his unwavering dedication at being "All in with God."  He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines.  He enjoyed training horses, adventuring to various rodeos across Indiana and Kentucky, and took great pride in what he could accomplish with horses.  Above all Ron's primary focus was his family, children, and relationship with God.  He cherished every second with his wife and children.  Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include: Spouse, Lisa Jurhs. Daughter, Kendra Jurhs. Daughter, Rebekah Jurhs. Brother, Jack and Linda Jurhs. Sister, Karen Jurhs. Sister, Sharon and Tom Stevens. Mother, Barbara Jurhs. Aunt, Dale and Sharon Ellard. Canine Companion, Max. 2 Grand Pups, Sage and Daisey.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Jack Jurhs, Daughter, Amanda Jurhs, Son, Nickalaus Jurhs, 1 Grandchild, and a sister, Barbara Jurhs.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 1:00pm at LaGrange Church of God, 777 North Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761. Burial will take place at Roger's Cemetery in rural LaGrange, IN following the services.

Officiating the services will be Pastor Scott Matthews.
