Robert Bain Glasner, age 94, of LaGrange, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Parkview Randallia in Fort Wayne, IN.  Born on July 9, 1931, in Hinsdale, IL, to the late Leroy and Helen (Bain) Glasner, Bob graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree. On July 7, 2001, he married Nancy Sherwood in LaGrange, IL.  Bob worked for 10 years in car sales for Glasner Brothers AMC before spending nearly 30 years as the proud owner and operator of Colorfast, his remodeling company. After retirement, he briefly enjoyed working as a school bus driver.  A man of many interests, Bob loved archery, sports, and the timeless sounds of Big Band music. He was a smooth dancer, a gifted conversationalist, and a man of deep generosity and humility. His wealth of knowledge, warm smile, and welcoming nature made him a friend to everyone he met. Bob truly never knew a stranger and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Survivors include: Wife, Nancy Glasner. Son, Robert (Shirley) Glasner Jr. Daughter, Christiana Glasner. Daughter, Karla Glasner. Daughter, Lynn McCutcheon. Daughter, Miki (Matt) Hornbuckle. Daughter, Tracie (Bill) Shannon. Grandchildren, Helen (Darius Chancy) Glasner, William Young, Liberty McCutcheon, Natalie Hornbuckle, Alyssa Hornbuckle, and Joseph Shannon. Great-grandchildren, Leeyah Chancy, Jordyn Chancy, and Darius Chancy Jr., Sophia Hornbuckle, and Odin Shannon. Mother of children, Brigitte Glasner.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, son, Ronnie Pevitts, brother, Leroy Glasner, son-in-law, Peter McCutcheon, daughter-in-law, Marla Glasner, and mother of his children, Nancy Heilenbach.

There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 12:00pm at Lynn and Liberty McCutcheon's home, 1030 West 575 South, Wolcottville, IN 46795.
