Robert Allen Hankinson, age 69, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his residence.  Mr. Hankinson was born on October 31, 1954 in Owosso, MI to the late Dale Herbert and Lois Lucille (Lawson) Hankinson.  Bob served his country honorably with the United States Army from 1975-1979.  During his enlistment, he obtained his high school diploma and then later continued his education at Lansing Community College in Lansing, MI.  For over 10 years, he worked at Johnson Controls.  Bob was a highly skilled and passionate artist, who excelled in pen and ink drawings.  He was a talented wood worker and tinkerer as well.  Bob will be missed by his family and close friends.

Grandson, Chandler Hankinson of Fort Worth, TX. Granddaughter, Emersyn Pajer of Wellington, OH. Grandson, Grady Hankinson of La Plata, MD. Granddaughter, Grace Hankinson of La Plata, MD. Granddaughter, Juliet Hankinson of La Plata, MD. Granddaughter, Laine Vogt of Callaway, MN. Granddaughter, Kelsey Browen of Callaway, MN. Sister, Sharon Depew of LaGrange, IN. Brother, Jim (Susie) Hankinson of LaGrange, IN. Brother, Ken (Lori) Hankinson of Forest City, NC. Sister, Marion (Kevin) Swedine of Owosso, MI. Sister, Mary Alice (Michael) Snyder of Owosso, MI. Special nephew, Bill Hankinson of LaGrange, IN. Special friend from the Army, Dave (Debbie) Cafferata. Also Surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Louis Hankinson.

There are no services scheduled at this time and cremation will take place.
