Richard Willison

Richard Ord Willison, 79, died at his home in Ft. Wayne, IN on September 21, 2026. Rich was born on February 19, 1947, in Kittanning, PA to Willard and Fannie (Livengood) Willison. He was a 1966 graduate of Redbank Valley High School in New Bethlehem, PA where he was a standout athlete.  Rich worked for GTE/Verizon for 35 years. He was married to Janet Fellows of Erie, PA from 1972 to 1991 and to Carinn Dylewski of Waterford, PA from 1994 until her death in 2013. He was also preceded in death by his sister Barb Long and his parents.

He is survived by his siblings Beth (Phil) Pence, Willard D. (Linda) Willison, and Barry (Karen) Willison, his children Richard C. Willison, Jill (Christopher) Tully, Kyle (Kevin) Quandt, stepchildren Chelsey Carmody, and Sergeant First Class Jarrod (Melissa) Carmody, grandchildren Tyler, Hayley, Jaime, Bradley, Reece, Karter, Roland, Carter, and Scotti, several nieces and nephews, his dear friend Janet Willison, and his beloved dog George. Rich loved the outdoors, dogs, and coaching his children and stepchildren. He was an avid hunter, golfer, and fisherman and was most proud of his family. 

The family will hold a private memorial service at Waterford Cemetery in PA.
