Raina Lynn Darby, age 16, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at her residence in LaGrange.  Miss Darby was born on January 23, 2008 in South Bend, IN.

Raina was currently a junior in high school at Prairie Heights High School in rural LaGrange County, and she was on track to an early graduation in May of 2025.  While completing her studies, she was previously employed at both Mancino's in Granger, IN and Arby's in Angola, IN.

Raina had a deep passion and profound love for music.  She excelled at both the guitar and piano.  Her true dream was to travel the world performing with music. She also enjoyed expressing herself with poetry and creating poems.  Raina enjoyed traveling and particularly loved Tennessee.  She also was an outdoor enthusiast, was thrilled by 4-wheelers and tractors, and was also fond of being in her Jeep Wrangler while watching sunsets with her canine companion, Scooby.  Raina had deep connections with her loved ones and was very family-oriented.  She loved her relationship with her brother, Andrew, spending time with her great-grandpa, Don, Sr., enjoying all the quality time with her dad and mom, and creating memories with other close friends and family.  Raina was best known for her beautiful smile that could light up the darkest of rooms, her love for everyone, and having absolutely no enemies.  Raina's smile was like that of a sunset, beautiful from start to finish, and always appeared the next day with the same bright enthusiasm.  She will be deeply missed by all who she loved and loved her.

Uncle, Devyn Darby of Fremont, IN. Cousins, Ethan and Everett Darby of Fremont, IN. Canine Companion, Scooby. Many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Raina was preceded in death by her aunt, Tammy Keyune.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at South Milford Church of Christ, 8030 East 600 South, Wolcottville, IN 46795.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:00am at South Milford Church of Christ, 8030 East 600 South, Wolcottville, IN 46795.

Burial will be held following the funeral service on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 10766 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561.

Officiating the services will be Pastor Brian Walter of South Milford Church of Christ.
