Phillip Wayne Ackerman Jr., age 51, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his residence.  Mr. Ackerman was born on July 10, 1970 in Sturgis, MI to Phillip Wayne Sr. and Mary A. Ackerman.  Phil attended Centreville High School in Centreville, MI.  He worked for Sturgis Iron and Metal in Sturgis, MI for years.  Phil has a passion for working on vehicles, lawn mowers, and tinkering.  He was extremely thoughtful and would help anyone in need.  Phil loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mother, Mary A. Ackerman.

Son, Owen Ackerman.

Step-daughter, Rachel Studenmund.

Brother, Edwin Ackerman.

Brother, William and Candice Ackerman.

Sister, Debbie Ackerman.

Many nieces and nephews.

Phil was preceded in death by his father, sister, Dawn Ebert, brother, Edward Ackerman, and niece, Nicole Larkin.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 12:00pm at Taylor Park in Wolcottville, IN
