Philip A. Hess, age 71, of Hudson, IN passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his residence.  Mr. Hess was born on July 11, 1949 in Decatur, IN to Norbert and Eileen (Johnston) Hess.  Phil graduated from Decatur High School in 1967.  He was a lake enthusiast and enjoyed fishing.  In his younger years, he loved to golf and sing karaoke.  Phil was an avid New York Yankees fan.  He valued his time spent with his brothers, family and friends.

Survivors include: Daughter, Christina Gire of Chicago, IL. Granddaughter, Sophie Gire of Chicago, IL. Brother, Stephen (Tamara) Hess of Leesburg, IN. Brother, Norbert (Linda) Hess of Edwardsburg, MI. Brother, Richard (Vicki) Hess of Decatur, IN. Brother, Brian Hess of Monroeville, IN. Brother, Edward Hess of Decatur, IN. Brother, John (Michelle) Hess of Decatur, IN. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Nathan Hess.

A celebration of life will be held on July 11, 2021 with the time and location pending.
