Patricia Sue Schnelker, age 82, of Fort Wayne, IN formerly of Wawaka, IN passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Life Care Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Schnelker was born on January 22, 1941 in Fort Wayne, IN to Donald Watson and Mary Tharp.  She graduated from Southside High School in Fort Wayne, IN.  She retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools after many years of dedicated service as a school bus driver.  Pat was an animal lover and particularly enjoyed dogs.  She enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her leisure as well.  Pat was a sweet loving lady and valued spending time with her family and loved ones.

Survivors include: Child, Jamie Schnelker of Fort Wayne, IN. Child, Bill (Melissa) Schnelker of Fort Wayne, IN. Child, Brian (Tracy) Schnelker of Wawaka, IN. Grandchild, Corina (Olman) Cantarero of Charlotte, NC. Grandchild, Heather (Mason) Demaree of Kendallville, IN. Grandchild, Nonia Schnelker of Wawaka, IN. Grandchild, Anakin Schnelker of Wawaka, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and uncle, Clayton Tharp.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.
