Michael Patrick Ryan, age 51, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at his home.  Mr. Ryan was born on July 1, 1970 in LaGrange, IN to Marion N. and Peggy L. Ryan.  Mike graduated from Lakeland High School in LaGrange, IN. He then continued his education at Glen Oaks Community College where he obtained his Journeyman Tool and Dye Certification.  Mike worked at Lake Park and Atwood Mobile Products collectively for 15 years before retiring.  He was gifted with his hands and wood working.  He had built and crafted furniture, shelves, cabinets, and entertainment centers.  Mike loved being outdoors, playing poker, partying with his friends, and blaring Willie Nelson music so his neighbors could know who the best musician ever was.  Mike's idea of a perfect day was spending quality time with his grandchildren.  They were his pride and joy.  He was proud of his family and loved his cherished time spent with them.

Survivors include: Son, Joe and Morgan Ryan of Sturgis, MI. Daughter, Megan and Andrew Brockwell of Ligonier, IN. Son, Kreig and Ariel Ackerman of Wolcottville, IN. Mother, Peggy L. Ryan of LaGrange, IN. Grandchildren, Renee, Adeline, Elijah, Holden Brockwell, and Adeline Ackerman. Sister, Dawn Merrifield of Wolcottville, IN. Brother, Tom and Evelyn Jonker of Florida. Brother, Ben Jonker of Elkhart, IN. Uncle, John Ryan of Kennard, IN.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, brothers, Nile Jonker, and Clancey Ryan, and sister-in-law, Jackie Jonker.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1:00pm at 130 E 405 S, LaGrange, IN 46761.
