Michael "Mike" Lynn Relue

Michael “Mike” Lynn Relue, age 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, went home to Heaven on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Mike was born on July 27, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Louis and Vivian (Fox) Relue. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne and continued his education at an apprentice school for drafting, where he developed exceptional engineering skills.

Mike served his country proudly and honorably with the United States Marine Corp.

On March 14, 1982, Mike married his wife of 46 years, Sharon Relue. Mike worked as a realtor and broker for many years with Mike Thomas and Associates. For 45 years, Mike and Sharon also owned and operated Relue Draperies, where he was able to showcase his engineering skills and expertise in custom installations.

Mike enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and boating. He was an avid fan of The Price Is Right and Judge Judy. Above all, Mike was very family-oriented and took great pride in caring for his loved ones. He cherished the quality time he spent with his family and his two canine companions, Addie and Odie.

Mike accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, his life story gets better and better. We rejoice that we will see him again.

Surviving Mike are his wife of 46 years, Sharon Relue; his son, Michael Relue Jr.; his son, Kevin (Darla) Templar; his daughter, Angie (Jerry) Thompson; his granddaughter, Kerra Templar; his grandson, Craig (Sabrina) Templar; his granddaughter, Carley Thompson; his granddaughter, Samantha (Braxton) Powers; his granddaughter, Dr. Abigail (Quinn) Hanlon; his great-grandson, Logan Templar; his great-granddaughter, Leah Templar; Great-grandson, Link Kevin Templar and his nephew, Lou Relue.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Kevin Christopher Templar; and his brothers, Richard Relue, Steven Relue, and David Relue.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 4:00pm with a meal following at Avalon Missionary Church, 1212 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819.
