Michael "Mike" Ray Funderburk, age 67, of Shipshewana, IN passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Mr. Funderburk was born on November 2, 1956 in Elkhart, IN to the late William and Margaret (Connelly) Funderburk. He attended Elkhart Central High School in Elkhart, IN. On May 20, 1978, he married the love of his Life, Tammy Sue Ramer at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church in rural Goshen, IN. For nearly 35 years, Mike diligently worked at Holiday Rambler in Wakarusa, IN as a group leader. Mike was an outdoor enthusiast, who loved fishing, boating, and mushroom hunting. He was an avid gun and knife enthusiast and enjoyed partaking in gun shows. Mike was always on the go and moving. He loved his family and spending quality time with them.

Survivors include: Spouse, Tammy Funderburk of Shipshewana, IN. Son, Jessie Funderburk of Elkhart, IN. Son, Jorden (Melissa) Funderburk of Goshen, IN. Grandson, Hunter (Yvette Rodriguez) Funderburk of El Paso, TX. Grandson, Dylan Funderburk of Japan. Grandson, Braxton (Krissa Schlabach) Funderburk of Shipshewana, IN. Grandson, Brodi Funderburk of Goshen, IN. Brother, Bill (Sandra) Funderburk of Canada. Brother, Dave Funderburk of Elkhart, IN. Sister-in-law, Ruth Funderburk of Elkhart, IN. Sister-in-law, Wanda Funderburk of Elkhart, IN. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings: Betty Jones, Don Funderburk, and Bob Funderburk.

There are no services scheduled at this time and cremation will take place at Mike's request.
