Mattie J. Miller, age 86, of Auburn, IN, formerly of LaGrange, IN, passed away on February 24, 2020 at Parkview Randallia in Fort Wayne, IN.  Mrs. Miller was born on November 13, 1933 in LaGrange, IN to David and Clara Miller.  Mattie finished her education and then later married her husband of 50 years Robert L. Miller in LaGrange.  She was a loving mother, homemaker, and caretaker.  She worked at her sister's restaurant "Dairy Point" in Rome City, IN for a year as a dishwasher.  Mattie also maintained a newspaper delivery route for the LaGrange Standard for nearly 15 years.  She loved to crochet blankets and quilts while watching Days of Our Lives on TV.   Planting and tending to her flowers was another one of Mattie's favorite pastimes.  With a very loving heart, she thoroughly enjoyed the quality time spent with family and loved ones.

Survivors include her sister, Fannie J. Mast of Kendallville, IN, nephew, Stanley Miller of Goshen, IN, niece, Verbie Fannin of Franklin, IN, niece, Kandra Foulk of Angola, IN, great-nephew, Stanley (Courtney) Miller II, of Granger, IN, great-niece, Verbie Camden of Franklin, IN, great-niece, Christina (Scott) Wood of Indianapolis, IN, great-nephew, Kevin Foulk of Kendallville, great-nephew, Zachary Foulk of Shipshewana, and great-nephew, Kyle Foulk of Kendallville.  Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-in-law, John Y. Mast.
