Margaret (Key) Rowe, age 92, of Terre Haute, IN formerly of Tennessee with residence in Illinois, West Virginia, and Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  Ms. Rowe was born on December 4, 1931 in Gallatin, TN to the late George D. and Bonnie (Meadows) Key.  Margaret married Russell H. Rowe in 1956 and became a loving mother, provider, and homemaker.  In her early adult life, she worked at the Tootsie Roll Factory in Chicago.  She enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, gardening, and tending to her plants.  Margaret loved to collect things including knick-knacks, lake rocks, and driftwood.  She cherished her sisters, brothers & their families, her son, grandbabies, great-grandchildren, and many precious extended family members & friends.

She is survived by her son, Garry (Karen) Rowe of Mt. Hope, WV; grandson Michael (Rebekah) Rowe also of Mt. Hope, WV: granddaughters Michele (Kyle) Baugh of Louisville, KY, and Melissa Rowe of Alexandria, VA; a brother, Walter (Lenore) Key of Greenwood, IN, as well as many loved nieces & nephews, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell H. Rowe; her sisters, Martha Ann Huff, Bernadine Rowe, Myra Laubenstein, & Rachel Carter; & a brother, Charles Key.
