Linda P. Myers, age 70, of Leesburg, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City, IN.  Ms. Myers was born on March 9, 1953 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Bruce O. and Erma B. (Stein) Scherer.  She graduated from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne.  On June 21, 1980, she married James E. Myers in Fort Wayne.  She worked as a laborer both for Al Coils in Columbia City and Paragon Medical in Warsaw for many years.  Later on, she worked at New Market and Dollar General both in North Webster, IN.  Linda absolutely loved the thrill of the hunt when it came to garage sales.  She also enjoyed fishing, greeting and visiting with her customers, and working.  Linda was certainly her own person and lived life the way she wanted.  She was extremely family oriented and beyond proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She will be missed by her loved ones dearly.

Daughter, Michelle (Toby) Thomas of Pierceton, IN. Son, Kevin (DeAnna) Myers of Bluffton, IN. Daughter, Julie Myers of Hicksville, OH. Daughter, Kim Grover. Grandchildren, Alexander (Shelby Hambrock) Kyler, Kyra Scherer, Chase Chandler,Andrew Scherer, Lanna Nicole, James M. Myers, Icy Mae Nine, Allison Fox Myers, Kylee Vollmerhausen, Kristopher Lee Thomas, and Kaitlyn Rose Berhalter. Great-grandchildren, Hudson A. Scherer, Parker A. Scherer, and Autumn E. Myers.
