Linda Janice Oliver

Linda Janice (Holland) Oliver, 77, passed away on March 15, 2026, at Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Linda was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 30, 1948 to the late Idona (Kirtz) Holland and Kenneth Holland. A life-long resident of Fort Wayne, she graduated from Central High School prior to attending college. She then entered the working world, finishing an office career after several years at Lincoln Life.

Linda loved reading books, but she especially enjoyed writing and publishing her own books; she wrote and published several children’s books and even some books of other genres. Linda also loved all things related to computers. But, most of all, she loved her large and growing family.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Aundreya Denise Holland-Huddleston of Fort Wayne; son, Randy James Holland of Fort Wayne; daughter, Niva LaShay Holland of Georgia; son, Michael Lynn Oliver of Bluffton, Indiana; and son, Markus Oliver of Bluffton, Indiana; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard Holland of California; and sister, Donna Lawrence of Georgia.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Stephanie Lynn Holland; sister, Marcia Charlton; sister, Cecilia Thomas; sister, Barbara Coleman; sister, Jessie Howard; brother, Kenneth Holland; and sister, Charlotte Gaines.

Arrangements and care have been entrusted to Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
