Leonard "Lennie" John Kiriazes, age 81, of Shipshewana, IN passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Life Care Center of LaGrange, IN.  He was born on May 10, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Marcos and Florence (Weber) Kiriazes.  Leonard graduated from St. Rita High School in Chicago, IL.  He also attended DePaul University, Danville University, and Alexian Brothers School of Nursing.  On June 2, 1973, he married his Wife of 51 years, Jean Kiriazes at Augustana Hospital Chapel in Chicago, IL.  While living in Chicago, he was a paramedic for the Chicago Fire Department.  He then ventured on to work for the United States Postal Service as Dock Supervisor for many years.  Lennie enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, relaxing while watching a good western film, and was a phenomenal storyteller.

Survivors include: Spouse, Jean Kiriazes of Shipshewana, IN. Step-son, Michael David (Teresa) Clark of Round Lake, IL. 3 Grandchildren, Crissy, Dustin, and Amber. 2 Great-grandchildren, Brayden and Remily. Sister-in-law, Mary Kay (Rubin) Medina of Millersville, MD Niece, Rachel Medina of Millersville, MD. Nephew, Paul Medina of Millersville, MD.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers; Mark "Skippy" Kiriazes and Gregory Kiriazes.

There are no services scheduled at this time and upon the family's wishes, cremation will take place.
