Joseph "Joe" E. Parsons, age 79, of LaGrange, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne, IN.  Mr. Parsons was born on May 4, 1945, in LaGrange, IN to the late Charles and Ella (Sexauer) Parsons.  He graduated from LaGrange High School.  On September 25, 1976, he married Doris Yenor at the Howe Presbyterian Church in Howe, IN.  Joe was a life-long Truck Driver and absolutely loved his profession.  He drove for CRST, Crete, and Jet Incorporated with his wife, Doris.  Though Joe spent most of his professional life driving truck, he also did some forklift driving for various manufacturing companies in the LaGrange region.  Joe's favorite pastime was tending to his yard and mowing.  He enjoyed watching IU basketball and the Detroit Lions.  Joe loved his stomping grounds in LaGrange and when he was out and about in town, he didn't know a stranger.

Survivors include: Daughter, Robin and Bill Cobine. Granddaughter, Kendra Hopper. 5 Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, David Parsons.

There are no services scheduled at this time and cremation will take place.
