Frances Irene Boyd , age 94, of Elkhart, IN formerly of LaGrange, IN passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at her residence at Riverside Village in Elkhart, IN.  Mrs. Boyd was born on September 26, 1925 in LaGrange, IN to John and Sadie (Caldwell) Jones.  On January 23, 1943, she married Robert Eugene Boyd in Oklahoma City, OK.  Frances worked for 15 years as a server at several restaurants.  She also worked in manufacturing in LaGrange, IN.  On top of her diligent work life, she was a loving mother, wife, and homemaker.   Frances loved to knit, sew, and crochet and won several awards at the LaGrange County 4-H Fair for her stunning abilities with the craft.  She enjoyed a good game of cards.  Frances had a caring heart and liked feeding her guests and helping take her friends to appointments, grocery store visits, and to other errands.  Frances will be missed dearly.

Survivors include: Son, Bob (Vivian) Boyd of Fort Myers, FL. Son, Charles Boyd of Rome City, IN. Daughter, Mary Thomas of LaGrange, IN. Daughter, Wanda Snipes of Muskogee, OK. 17 grandchildren. Many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 daughters; Betty Jordan and Shirley Cosby, and 2 grandchildren.
