Ezekiel Combs, age 74, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at his residence.  Mr. Combs was born on February 23, 1949 in Hindman, KY to Robert and Elizabeth (Shepherd) Combs.  On November 14, 2011, he married Ruby Kate Perkins in LaGrange, IN.  For 28 years, Ezekiel was a muller operator for the Sturgis Foundry.  Retiring from Morgan Olson after 4 years of dedicated service.  Ezekiel was a true outdoorsman at heart.  He loved fishing, hunting, and being outside amongst nature.  He as well as his brothers, not only enjoyed, but were impressive anglers and archers.  Their old stomping grounds were some of his best memories.  If it walked, crawled, swam, or flew, they would eat it.  Ezekiel was a self taught musician who enjoyed writing music.  He loved singing and playing the guitar for his wife Ruby.  Ezekiel was very loving towards cats and adored his 4 pet cats.  Ezekiel was a family man, loved to spoil his wife, and enjoyed every ounce of quality time spent with his family and loved ones.  Ezekiel was a good man.

Step-son, Sam (Wendy) Eastwood of Howe,IN.

Grandchildren, Micheline Combs, Bridjit Norton, Jillianne Elizabeth Combs, Kassandra LeCount, Kyle (Jennifer) LeCount, Corey Williams, Amber Ankey, Lillian Rothhaar, Emma Rosenbaum, and Zoe Auer.

Great-grandchildren, Mason, Brandon, Paislee, Piper, Issah, Isaac, Ian, Eli, Kamryn, Karsyn, Kolayna, and Drake.

Brother, Leonard (Wanda) Combs of Kentucky.

Sister, Susie Williams of Kentucky.

Sister, Alice (Eric) Troyer of Ontario, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Adam Combs, Glen Combs, Donald Combs, and Barbara Jane Jent.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 1:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services as well.

Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN
