Eugene Newsome, age 60, of Howe, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

He was born on November 16, 1964, in Kendallville, Indiana, to the late Clyde and Margery (Adams) Newsome. Eugene graduated from Lakeland High School and went on to earn his CNC operating certification.

On April 18, 1988, he married the love of his life, Kimberly Williamson, at the LaGrange Church of God in LaGrange, Indiana.

Eugene worked for many years at Morgan Olson, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he was a true car enthusiast, especially proud of his beloved Camaro. He cherished the memories of teaching his brother how to drive.

A lifelong collector of basketball and football trading cards, Eugene also enjoyed watching classic western television shows.

Survivors include: Son, Joshua Newsome. Grandchildren, Skylar, Riley, Cali, Isabella, and Sophia Newsome. Brother, Gary Newsome. Brother, Jason and Tammy Newsome.

He was preceded in death by both parents and his wife, Kimberly Newsome.

There are no services scheduled at this time and cremation will take place upon his final wishes.
