Donnie Lee Messer, age 34, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 in Miami County, IN.  Mr. Messer was born on February 14, 1986 in LaGrange, IN to Paul Stidham and Judy Carol Messer-Zimmerman.  Donnie attended East Noble High School in Kendallville, IN.  He worked at Kroger as a sales associate.  Donnie enjoyed playing basketball with his friends when he was younger.  He loved spending time with his friends, family, and two nieces.

Survivors include: Mother, Judy and Harry Jr. Zimmerman of LaGrange, IN. Father, Paul and Kay Stidham of LaGrange, IN. Grandmother, Betty L. Messer of Wolcottville, IN Step-grandmother, Helen K. Zimmerman of Topeka, IN. Sister, Aleshia G. Messer of LaGrange, IN. Two nieces, Faith J. and Destiny Shay Messer of LaGrange, IN. Uncle, Jimmy Messer of KY. Uncle, Dewey Messer of KY. Uncle, Johnny Messer of Wolcottville, IN. Uncle, Fred Messer of Wolcottville, IN. Aunt, Dee and Mike Smith of KY. Aunt, Janie Messer and Danny Prater of Wolcottville, IN. Step-aunt, Peggy S. Zimmerman of Anderson, IN.

Donnie was preceded in death by his two grandfathers; Willie Messer and Roy Stidham, and grandmother, Gracie Caudill.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 1pm with calling two hours prior from 11am-1pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Burial will take place at Brushy Chapel Cemetery following the funeral ceremony.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Percy Young.
