Donald "Don" L. Ely, age 55, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.  Mr. Ely was born on July 23, 1966 in Mishawaka, IN to Raymond Burns and Barbara (Ely) Allen.  Don graduated from Northwood High School in Nappanee, IN.  He worked within the RV Industry for 20 years.  Don enjoyed being outdoors, bow hunting, fishing, and canoeing.   He kept his yard immaculate and ensured his garden was flourishing.  Don loved spending time with his wife, Amy and 4 Boston Terriers, Winston, Little, Goyle, and Oliver.

Survivors include: Spouse, Amy Ely of LaGrange, IN. Daughter, Holly (Jason) Gruber of Wakarusa, IN. Daughter, Summer (Jamie) Sterling of Wakarusa, IN. Son, Matthew (Brittany) Ely of Wakarusa, IN. Grandsons, Grant and Gatlin Gruber of Wakarusa, IN. Several Siblings. Mother-in-law, LaDonna Redding of LaGrange, IN.
