Dennis Ray Kirkpatrick, age 77, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at his residence in LaGrange.  Mr. Kirkpatrick was born on May 23, 1947, in Texas to Elmer and Fern (Sawyer) Kirkpatrick.  He graduated from high school in Texas.  For over 20 years, he owned and operated AT-EZ Computers and Video Connection in LaGrange.  After VHS tapes rentals became less available, he continued operating the computer side for an additional 15 years.  This brought his total computer professional career to a total of 35 years of quality service.  Prior to his computer career, he also worked for Sealed Power in LaGrange.  Dennis was a pool shark and absolutely loved billiards.  He was a phenomenal pool player and owned and operated a pool league called NEI -APA now known as Tri-State-APA.  His pool game and computer skills were not the only thing that made Dennis special.  Dennis also contained the true gift of enabling all those around him and who met him to feel like a friend.  He did not know a stranger and anyone he encountered ultimately would feel like a friend by the end of the conversation.  He had a smile for everyone, a listening ear when needed, and loved to give a good hug.  He was a family man, loved his grandchildren, and always cherished time spent with friends and family.

Survivors include: Son, Gary Kirkpatrick of Atlanta, GA. Daughter, Ginger Rumsey of Fairfield, IL. Son, Rusty (Natasha) Kirkpatrick of LaGrange, IN. Fiancé', Michele Gick of LaGrange, IN. 6 Grandchildren, Derek McCoy, E.J. Kirkpatrick, Aly Walton, Aiden Kirkpatrick, Gavin Kirkpatrick, and Liam Buchanan. 2 Great-grandchildren, Deven McCoy and Ezra McCoy. Brother, Jay Kirkpatrick. Many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, mother of his children, Sue Legg, and a daughter-in-law, Beth Kirkpatrick.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.
